I AM AGE 12-18 AND WOULD LIKE TO JOIN AS A CADET...
Before you
join, prospective cadets are required to attend 3 meetings
before a membership application can be accepted. This protects
the prospective cadet by giving them an opportunity to
experience Civil Air Patrol before paying membership dues to see
if it is what they expect. During these three meetings, you
will be introduced to our members and the CAP routine. At your
third meeting, you can request a membership application if you
would like to join us. And we know you will!
Cadet
membership initial dues are $33. Initial dues should be turned
in with the completed membership application form. Give them to
the Deputy Commander of Cadets will receive the application and
make sure it is duly processed.
All new
membership applications are subject to a squadron membership
application board. When the board approves the new member, the
application is sent to National Headquarters for processing.
You will receive a new member kit and your membership card in
the mail. It usually takes 2-3 weeks from the time you
submit your application until you receive your kit and card.
But rest assured, you can still participate in meetings during
the processing of your application!
We meet every
Thursday from 6:30-9:00pm. Click here for ...directions to our

I AM OVER THE AGE OF 18 AND WOULD LIKE TO JOIN AS AN OFFICER...
Before you
join, we recommend that you attend a couple of squadron meeting
to see for yourself who we are and to be introduced to our
people and our operation. Our squadron Officers meet every Thursday
from 7:00-9:00pm.

Once you have
made the decision to join us, you can submit a membership
application form along with your initial dues, which are $75.
Along with your application, you will also need to submit a
completed fingerprint card. For the security of our missions as
well as the safety of our cadets, background checks are required
for all new officers.
All membership
applications are subject to a squadron membership approval
board. The board will then send your application to National
Headquarters, who will process your membership. You will
receive a new member kit and your membership card in the mail.
It usually takes 2-3 weeks from the time you submit your
application until you receive your kit and card.
Once you are a
member, you can begin the process of deciding what you would
like to do in the squadron. There are many “jobs” that make a
squadron function: leadership positions, administration,
logistics, communications, operations, and more. You can also
choose to participate in an emergency services role such as on
an aircrew or ground team or help in the cadet or aerospace
programs. And there is nothing preventing you from following
several paths; it’s all up to you. You will be given
assistance in helping determine how your interests can be
applied in the squadron. Once your role (or roles) are
determined, you will be assigned a mentor to help you through
the initial training phases and help you assimilate into your
new squadron.
If at any time
you need assistance, the squadron staff is always available to
help.
